Key Tasks & Responsibilities
During your shift you will be running the show. Your duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Meeting and greeting the guests and managing the reservations.
- Leading, managing and motivating a diverse team to deliver an exceptional standard of service
- Ensuring the requirements under the Sale & Supply of Alcohol Act and MOW Bar’s host responsibilities are being met by all team members
- Helping the owner with stock management and stock orders
- Daily cash up
Next to this we give you the freedom to use your creativity and ideas for new drinks (beers, cocktails, spirits, you name it!) and day-to-day operations.
Skills, experience and qualifications required
- 2-3 years relevant Front Office experience, and
- 1-2 years experience in a similar role, and
- An LCQ Qualification and current Management Certificate, and
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
About the location
As Twizel is a very popular Summer destination, we’re looking for people to join the workforce during these busy months. But we’re always keen to hear from potential team mates in low season too! Your working hours will be night shifts, hence you can enjoy your daytime sunbathing, boating on the lake, swimming or going on one of the beautiful hikes in the Twizel area.
Located in between Christchurch and Queenstown, Twizel has plenty to offer. You will be blown away by amazing scenery and a wonderful community.
